The origins of Inbetween Land
Development often starts with a single spark from one person, not the brainstorm of a crowd. Here is how ours lit up.

People often imagine game development beginning with a room full of designers brainstorming together. In our experience, it usually starts with a single spark from one person, an image or a feeling that refuses to let go.
Inbetween Land began exactly that way: a sense that something just isn't right when a childhood friend calls out for help, and a portal to a strange world waiting to be opened.
From that one idea, the rest of the team built outward, layering puzzles, characters, and a science-fiction world around the original spark until it became a game worth finishing.
