Visual presentation tells the player what kind of game they are in before a single line of dialogue is spoken. For Angelo and Deemon, everything had to say the same thing: this is going to be fun, vivid, and full of details.
We pushed the colors, exaggerated the characters, and packed each scene with small jokes and background gags rewarding players who take the time to look around.
The comedy lives in the art as much as in the writing. A well-placed visual gag can land a joke faster than any punchline, and Hell, it turns out, is a wonderful place to draw.
